:D i was impressed with challenger last night he is getting better with every race, well done joyce & hellon

Challenger run at Easington last night and won to my amazment he flew the lids yes he did trap. Just bwish more people would come its a smashing night you can watch the greyhounds as well as the whippets and check your dogs time against the greyhounds . John i hope chloe is a lot better today and she has a quick recovery.See you all next week. WOODY

WHAT WERE THE NONE PED TIMES LIKE, COMPARED TO THE GREYHOUNDS OVER THE SAME DISTANCE.

don't think u can compaire times if whippets r coming off kick boards.

Well done Joyce the little dogs running well

Carrol

: the times for the whippets and greyhounds depends on the going.the other night the times for she bangs, taken to src is just over 15.03,with gypsy queen/challenger 14.50 and14.65.

the greyhound odd race 14.10,mostly around the 14.50/14.80 quiet a few not breaking 15s,one race was 15.32 :b .our whippets open afew eyes.would be interesting to see some of our whippets against a greyhound not that one that does14.10 as it must be a top grade dog.

well done joyce and helen hes a lovely looking dog

Hi David What is on two weeks on SUNDAY then?

Maybe you should put it on here then you might get a better turn out ?

Not everyone gets whippet news and IRG news letters some just rely on internet technology for information and venues opens ect .

Worth trying dont you think ,,

Steve.

Dawdon has the Ray Harvey memorial bend open on at Easington on the 6 Feb. This open is not top 10 due to the 1 top ten per club rule. I'll put the details on here when i see Tanya. Ray was a very popular person in racing and we are hoping for as many people as possible to come along and remember him. Not all racing should be about top ten points. Please pass this date on.

im sure there will be a good turn out thurs nights r awkward for some due to work/shifts etc. :(

even if we werent running anything we wud still be there to support the open. :D

Great night again last night sorry to see only one heat but what a heat it was Ted the red flew the lids as did challenger two weeks in a row im getting worried. Yes Podge the little pup is doing you proud he has come on a main in the last 9 weeks ive raced him at Easington. 3 3rds 3 2nds 3 wins not a bad record for a novice. Hope he runs as well on the open circuit time will tell. Thanks Tanya for putting Thursday nights on its just what the big fellow needed to bring him on.Hope you start up again later on in the tear. see you all soon. WOODY
