Well done to everyone who did well today  , we got 1st in Novice with our "Phoebe" (Veredon Naughty But Nice With Lanakeshena).

Honey is in season so she couldnt go :( Also Tegan couldnt, as her leg is in a cast, but she did have a great time seeing everyone, her eyes nearly popped out when she saw that field!! (w00t) its been 8 weeks since her last run and things are getting desperate!

If anyone has got any piccy's of Phoebe in our class, please could you email them to me, we got pics of some of the classes, which ive emailed to people, but left the camera in the car, when Phoebe was in! :- "

WELL DONE to everyone who did well

It sounds like a great show :D :D

I'm really pleased. We had a FANTASTIC day. Actually weekend - we went up Friday night and spent Saturday with Juley and Mark and their crew at Stormburst then did the show today. It was my first EAWC show, and definitely won't be our last. It's a long trip, but definitely worth it!

Our first wonderful bit of the day was being approached by the daughter of the people who made the Rosettes. She had the task of giving a special prize to the whippet she most wanted to take home, and she chose Teya - so Teya has a HUGE rosette AND trophy! Thank you SO much - she and we are very honoured.

Then seeing how well everyone in our 'corner' was doing was really thrilling - esp Dawn with Spider (though I'm not forgetting you little Lily - how could we!).

Teya was shortlisted in a VERY strong PGB class and I couldn't have been more pleased - especially as she showed her little sox off, and was probably the most laid back I've had her in the ring - I was VERY proud of her.

But then to top off the day I was thrilled when Savvy placed 4th in a very good Limit Bitch class!

It was a pleasure to go under Karen. She definitely judged to the British Standard, was very consistent with her placings and what she was choosing. I really enjoyed watching her judge.

Thank you Cathie, Alayna and all the rest of the EAWC Committee for a wonderfully run show, for inviting over such a great judge, and providing a good day for all! We'll be back!

Wendy

ps - Debs - Nick probably has pics, but will be a couple of days - will fwd them when I've got them sorted through

Congratulations to all who did well yesterday  - it was such a lovely day out - the committee of EAWC did their absolute best to make sure everyone enjoyed their day, win or lose, and they certainly acheived their objective.  From arriving at the show to get your free goody bag with drinks and chocolate and chewies for the dogs, to all the lovely prizes and rosettes and wonderful buffet and wine(!!) we were all spoilt rotten. :huggles: And having a wonderul big field for the dogs to run in, made it even better on such a gorgeous spring day

Well done to all the K9ers who did well, but especially to my little travelling mate Mabel who won PGB in a strong entry of 30  - she was such a good girl today and we were all pleased as punch for her and Liz (alfie) who has the patience of a saint with her little madam!!! :- " :sweating:

Thanks for the great photo - and well done Jaz and Mollee!
