Hi Everyone,

I am now sending out schedules to all members and everyone who attended last years Champ Show, everyone who entered the open show was given a schedule however, if you need another please PM and I will send another.

The show is on Sunday 19th August 2007, held at Littleport Leisure Centre, Littleport, Ely, Cambs. There is plenty of parking at this venue as well as a large playing field to excercise your dogs on.

Judges

Dogs Mrs M Blanks (Westmount)

Bitches Mr A Simmonds

We will be having our usual FREE Buffet for everyone at the show, with enough food for everyone to come back for seconds and of course FREE wine or/ orange/apple juice.

We will have a goody bag for every exhibitor, which has something for yourself and your dogs.

Royal Canin have kindly agreed to sponser us again offering a bag of food for every 1st prize winner and a sack of food for BIS RBIS BPIS and BVIS.

My contact details for anyone that wants a schedule

It is a great venue and if the weather is OK really nice BIG rings outside.

The committee work very hard to make a success of this show in previous years and deserve a good entry.

This is a really lovely venue and is a super show too, looking forward to it, we are coming home from holiday ( at a show of course) on the saturday so as not to miss it.

I'll look forward to this - I really enjoyed the Open show earlier in the year.

Monty loved the open show - of course he was NFC but that didn't stop him running around the field with his mates and then taking full advantage of the buffet table while his inattentive owner was chatting - someone caught my eye cos they were laughing, I looked round to see Monty looking up at me with a breadstick sticking out of his mouth like a huge cigar (w00t)

Humm, this maybe a silly question, but if I decide to go to watch on 19th August is it ok to take my whippet along too?

Picked mine up at bath - really want to try and make this show just as I have heard it was so well run (and pick up ideas for our club shows!!) Of course Miss P-S will be out and about then too!

Just come to me on the day when you arrive and fill in a form for the your dog, then you are covered for being at the show.

But have you thought about entering and having a go?

Well I have just posted to send for a schedule from you so that's a jolly good start eh!

Yes I have thought of entering but I have never showed a dog (plenty of horses!) and Hollie is now 9 months I stacked her once she did nit like me for it, opps!

Her brother is Monty, he stacks nicely, I've seen pictures on here, so yes I know I MUST TRY HARDER!

Loved the Open Show as Josh won a huge basket of goodies (Easter bunny devoured by me on the way home!) so am looking forward to the Champ show. Does anyone know where I can find the write up for the Open Show because I'd be interested to see what was written about him. Thanks :)

Well if you decide to enter we will help you as much as we can on the day and I'm sure there there will be plenty of K9er's to support you as well.

In the mean time try going to a local ringcraft for some practice.

If you only only want to enter one dog at the show you can enter the other Not For Competition.

If you PM your e-mail address, I will send it across to you, it has been in the dog papers, but we are having some trouble getting it on the website.

Where abouts in Essex are you and I will look at my list of clubs?
