Well done everyone, I was very sorry not to be able to go to this show. Really well done to all the winners, any chance of a picture of BIS and RBIS (Zephyr's sister   )

Hope you all got home OK, the weather is TERRIBLE today! :luck:

WELL DONE MAYZEE AND JAX!! :D

Well done to all, especially my fat Mabel's (Welstar As You Like it at Monelli) sister, Jessica, on winning Best in Show, and Jax with Mayzee.

Would you believe it, I've finally managed to get the post-season weight off Mabel- she was in season in July!!- and she's looking really good, only we haven't got any shows to go to till the new year!

Anybody got any ideas to help prevent phantom pregnancies and weight gain? I've tried Sepia and Pulsatilla, and something from Dorwest, but someone suggested Raspberry leaf as well. Anyone tried it?

I think Mabel is just destined to be a martyr to her hormones...

Are you sure she hadn't spied the sausages!!?

 Dont you worry , she`d got those sussed straight away !!! o:) She was even looking for them when the stewards were taking our numbers before judging :p

Mayzees on a special low fat , high fibre diet now , as she has a problem ( the vet thinks) with her pancreas(sp) , although the only sign of it is through a blood test.As she has only just started it on Saturday , she was allowed her sausages :- " Ive got to take her for more blood test in 6 weeks :luck:

Thanks for that Stefan , shame you couldnt get rid of my excess cheeks and chin at the same time

If you are serious about preventing phantoms - use Raspberry Leaf tablets (the ones from Dorwest are a licensed vet medicine) but they must be given from the first sign of coming into season for 12 weeks (when the bitch would have whelped)

You can also give a homoeopathic Urtica Urens 3C which dries up the milk if this continues to be a problem. Pulsatilla is good - but of course it depends on the severity of the phantom.

BTW WELL DONE MAYZEE!!! & jax !!!

WELL DONE to all but special congrats to k9'ers Jax and Mayzee.

Katana, Any chance of a pedigree on that little black bitch???? Or even just sire and dam for starters? :)

Little April Showers is by Ch Welstar Red Robin out of The Jitterbug Queen. Sire is fawn, dam is black and white, I think! :)

The mother came 2nd behind Mayzee in Vet . Litter sisters of puppy were there too . 1 blue and 1 black masked fawn , The fawn was a little bigger than the balck and the blue was even smaller and finer boned

 Well done to all!!!

A SPECIAL GREETING TO THE VERY SPECIAL MAYZEE!!!!!!! WELL DONE MAYZEE AND JAX!!!

Thats correct, The Jitterbug Queen is black and white her breeding is Lucianoi Pavarotti x Stepaul Speckled Wood.

Red Robin is by Gorwynne Reed Bunting of Baldrey x Welstar Reflections.
