Having not had a meeting at the Club for a month it was good to get together.

The weather was sunny but a bit windy, and where the grass had been cut a bit of clearing up was necessary before we got underway

Race 12/13 abandoned because of wind, thunder, lightning & torrental rain. We had to stand up for approx 1/2 hour before we could put the equipment away

Up to that time we had great racing. The handicaper Ray did a great job and some very close races were run .

It was the 1st time for Jennettes puppy Chef ( Chermayeff) racing name, to be on the program, and it looks like he is a force to be reckon with.

We were also pleased to put Sue's Molly & Missy in the racing, these two dogs were at first very reluctant to take part, but now there is no holding them back. Sue said they are completely different dogs

Also our Katie ( Satin Sunshine to be) raced for the first time, much to Lottie's delight

Our next meeting is Sunday 12th August, more information nearer the day

It seems ages since we have been to Newmarket. I bet it was good to be club racing again. We've seen Jeanettes dog Chef at Harvel and he is very impressive, he is gonna be one to watch out for in the heavyweight group definately.

I can't believe Lotties Katie is running already, i bet she loved watching her run.
