 Would everyone please note that the East Midlands B.W.R.A. Another Maid open for Top Ten Points will now be held at Shirebrook Staff W.R.C. The date is still 13th May and the deatails are as per the original advert. We are extremely grateful to all the committee and workers at Shirebrook for agreeing to hold this open for us at such short notice, as the ground at Notts and Derby is still too wet to risk causing damage to it or the dogs. Would you all tell those of your friends who do not have access to K9, so that we can have a good turn out for the region, although this event is open to all comers! Please turn up and have a good days' sport! On behalf of the East Midlands Committee, Dee!

Good old Shirebrook  Hope the sun shines as well :)

please dee can you confirm date as i thought date was sat 12th may??

Good on you and the rest of the gang Chris

In whippet news the advert says BWRA EAST MIDS ANOTHER MAID TOP TEN OPEN 12TH MAY 2012,

so is that the date sat 12th may 2012 or has the date changed

Have you realised it's the BWRA reps meeting on that day, and some people might want to run their dogs

surely common sense will prevail and the meeting will be moved to shirebrook like the racing so anyone who wants/has to attend the meeting will be able to run their dogs.

Totally agree piglet common sense, shirebrook could accommodate racing and meeting on Sunday no fee for use of club for meeting just spoke to them.

I,m really sorry l said to Dee the 13th and did know it was the Saturday just got the dates mixed up. This meeting will be held on SATURDAY 12TH MAY. Once again sorry for the confusion. :))

Surely it makes sense to have this additional reps meeting on the same day and the same venue as a racing event and forego any rights to anyone claiming expenses.

BWRA have been hit hard enough financially and at this rate, there'll be no money left!

totally agree

surely a phone call to arrange things would be the proper way to make arrangements  rather than this mess up im not happy at all, sick of making arangements with our club re cafe etc.so if you want this open on phone :teehee:

The open should and will be on saturday or not at all(as long as it's o.k. with the Shirebrook club & Chris.)

Good call jac

Well said Gordon, the reps meeting has nothing to with this open, if the BWRA top table would like to change their date and reorganize that is up to them, I know that they have booked the room at Notts and Derby.

Of course it has no tie with the open. It could be an NNWRF event running at same weekend and I'd still suggest merging for the sake of expenses to BWRA, costs to individuals and for the benefit of an Opens entries.

It's an opinion, not a dictation.

surely the BWRA should be telling reps when and where they are haveing there meeting if it is a week away

Notts was canceled a week ago
