It was a fantastic day, I'm still grinning from ear to ear!! 
Dermot is such a show-off, he loved being in the ring, I'm sure he would have just done it himself if I'd just pointed him in the right direction! (w00t)
I know I'm a saddo but I was just so delighted to take my puppy out for the first time and get a first in his first class at his first ever show! :b I never thought we'd get Best Dog Pup, so to end up going head-to-head with his sister Scarlett, against Dermot's breeder, my mate Anita, was just the funniest, loveliest way to end the day! We have phoned and emailed each other loads of times in the last 24 hours just to say 'wow' to each other!!! :lol:
We also got some wonderful prizes - lots of dog food, a towel with a whippet on and a brand new coat - Dermot is delighted cos he's never had a 'first-hand' coat! :thumbsup: So big thanks to EAWC for the food, the goodie bag, the free lunch and for the most amazing rosettes ever! And to Juley from Collar's R Us and for the judge Kevan Ellis for sponsoring the classes that Dermot won.
In spite of our super day, my little iggie Zoe bought me down to earth with a bang when we got home - she'd been to the toilet and found that she had a small deposit that wouldn't fall off :x so she scooted down me while we were having a celebratory whisky - much to the amusement of my sister, Wayne and the kids!!! :rant:
I would love to post a photo but I can't post pics on K9 anymore, it keeps giving me messages I don't understand :wacko: but I can assure you that Dermot is now covered in grass stains and is back to looking like a grubby little boy again :wub:
