Todays trophy was kindly donated many years ago by Mick Harris in memory of his great 16lb bitch

Racing was scatch today over 150yds, 1st & 2nds through to the Main & 3rd & 4ths into the Consolation

The weather was T/Shirt weather overclouded but warm not to hot for the dogs & the ground was perfect after rain in the week

Well done to everybody, there were some very close races and the results do not give justice to the dogs

Just a mention for Rons Tiger Lily & Silver, they are showing improvement at every meeting, & together with Rather Special are the most improving dogs at this time.

It is great to see Tristan racing again after his long lay off to gether with his kennal mate trialing today after his very long lay off because of ill health, well done Billy

We wish all members & dogs good luck at what ever meeting they attend next week, and look forward to seeing you all back on 9th August .

Thanks for another GREAT days racing at Newmarket and please naturally extend my appreciation to Ray & Dave. You always make people feel very welcome at Newmarket and especially the newcomers! You have been especially helpful in the training and development of my girls!! HUGE thanks for that and for giving them a special mention in your results today. And I love the way you spice up the raffle with that tease of an invisable chicken!! LOL.

Thanks M. Yes, over the moon with them. Making the move to Suffolk and having Newmarket and Harvel clubs closeby has made a huge difference to the girls who seem to be getting better week by week. I've received wonderful advice and help from both clubs on schooling the girls and the atmosphere is always friendly and fun ... you'd love it!! Can't wait til you pass that driving test and get mobile girl!! Many thanks for your kind words and can't wait to swap puppy pictures with you!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Carol. It was another lovely day. Silver is a little off at the moment and I suspect its because she is only a few weeks out of season. Lily on the other hand is full of herself and is well into the lure now .... no more looking for me at the finish until she has a good old tug on the plastic rabbit!! lol! She had some tough competition yesterday and did so well and, of course, I'm dead proud of them. I cannot wait for you to see her run a race!! She is in the 22lb group next Sunday and I'll be in touch, pronto, to let you know how we do!! I don't have too many great expectations but it will be great experience for them - that said, fingers crossed. All the best to you and the family and hopefully see ya soon.xx.
