Diesel (Parkstone Cool as Ice) suffered an accident racing today. :(

I rushed him to vets, who has initially diagnosed ruptered discs causing paralysis. I've had to leave the little fella in over night.

Thanks for all the calls and well wishes. As you can imagine we're devastated. I'm going to work every hour god sends and spend every penny I've got to try and get my baby boy to walk again.

Get well soon Diesel :huggles: :huggles: thoughts and well wishes are with you and Joey keeping everything crossed :luck: :luck: :luck:

Keep us posted we are all rooting for him :huggles:

Oh Scott I'm gutted for you. I know how much you love your dogs you and Joey must be in bits. Life's a bitch isn't it.

Fingers and toes crossed here and that's a lot of 'em including the dogs that the news from the vets is better tomorrow.

I do hope he pulls through. The Mitchells had a little dog suffered similar damage that recovered well enough to walk again. Hope you get the same result or better.

Oh poor Diesel.........

It's early days, when the swelling reduces, the sensation may well return. I am thinking of you and Joey. Hugs to you all, and try to be positive. I'll send loads of good thoughts from down here :huggles:

Hi Scott,

Should you need the services of a specialist "running dog" vet, . there is one working out of Warrington. His name is Kevin Reeves and the contact number is 01925 232221. He is semi retired and works from various surgeries. Stephen Thacker has used him and will be able to let you know how good he is. I hope that it won't come to that and the vet that he is with now will be able to offer the correct treatment.

We were all shocked at the Northern this afternoon and I am sure that everone is thinking of all three of you and wishing Deisel a complete recovery.

So sorry to hear Diesel has been injured :(

Fingers crossed that he makes a good and speedy recovery :luck: :luck:

Stay strong Scott and Joey, they're tougher than we give them credit for.
