Just caught up with the devastating news this morning - so sorry to hear about Diesel and Saxon Gold. It's the sort of thing we all dread happening, and it makes us all wonder if we are right in allowing our dogs to race. The thing is - yes we are right - the enjoyment shows on their faces, and IMO they are happier dogs for it.

Our best wishes and thoughts are with you Scott and Jo - we know how much you care for your babies. Keep us updated with his progress, and the best of luck :luck:

Hi Scott. Just read of the injury to Diesel. Wishing him all the best and all your friends at EAWCC will be wishing the same.

Good luck

Chris and Pam

Oh no, Poor Diesel, my thoughts are with you all, and Tascha sends a get well lick from one Parkstone pup to another :luck: :luck: :luck:

Warmest wishes to all Whips injured yesterday :huggles:

So sorry to hear about Diesel. Hope he makes a good recovery. We had a dog with the same problem and have heard of many more. Nearly all of them have recovered enough to lead a decent life. Ours did have to have surgery though. That was when he was 8 years old but he went on to to live to be nearly 14 years old.

Fingers crossed for Diesel and Holly.

Thanks for all the kind words and offers of help. Much appreciated, it really make's you think what a great bunch K9 people are.

The latest is I've transferred him to the Rutland House Veterinary Hospital, who specialise in Orthopaedics. He's having X-rays this afternoon and then maybe surgery. :(

I'll know more later, will keep you all posted. :luck:

Glad he's gone to the specialist, hopefully the xrays will sort out what needs to be done to get him on the mend  fingers crossed as always :luck: :luck:

Hi Scott,

Been trying to ring you since getting your text last night, good luck at the specialist talk later.

He's just coming round from the knockout juice, he's had an x-ray. Apparently he's got bleeding and swelling putting pressure on his spine that is causing the paralysis. No need for surgery and he reckons he'll have him on his feet in a couple of days! :D

Not counting my chickens, but think I owe the guy a nice bottle of malt! :b

Just hoping to have my baby boy back soon! :luck:

Hope Kev has some luck! :luck:
