so did he give her a good patient award badge nina? :- "

Definitely NOT :b

I think the poor man was glad to see the back of her :- "

She can be a real little witch when she wants to & a bit of a prima donna

She is apt to throw a tantrum over the slightest thing as it is, soooo this was definitely a big deal for her & boy did she let him know it

All in all what with a spoilt rotten whippet, a gobby OVERPROTECTIVE mom who said "Oh for godsake, here let me do it" i dont think it was his best day ever (w00t)

Good job after 16 years he knows me & just resigns quietly 8)

Just a general query. How bad does a cut have to be to warrant stitching? Also will it heal with less scaring if stitched? Have heard conflicting ideas on this.

I think because it wasn't deep & bleeding profusely, just like the top layer of skin sheared off, more like a graze that will heal on its own.

If it had been a deep gash then yes he would have stitched it

Aloe Vera gel ......Its wonderful stuff  ........Hope Ellies feeling MUCH better now :huggles:

keep salt watering it then powder it but let the air get to it and let her lick it, it will be fine, tcp with water or tea tree oil with water will also help,

Sorry, I was talking generally meaning more body or leg injuries than paws. Glad to hear your girl is feeling better.
