Well with all the drama of the last couple of days poor Emily has been a bit overlooked. But here she is at last.

Born in France, lived in Belgium with Katia and driven at 100mph through Belgium, France and England :blink: to land in Bicester wednesday night. Emily is a bit coals to Newcastle really as she is totally english bred.

She has the most wonderful temperatment which is just as well with the reception the two little princesses gave her. Hattie is just about acknowleding her and Shelley still grumbles at her under her breath and runs away from her.

She hasnt turned a hair since she has been here taking everything in her stride.

So we are a one whippet household again

Emily has settled in very well. Had her first walk off the lead Boxing day. She is the worst thief I have ever had. She has taught herself to use the dog flap.

She spent the first few days sleeping on my bed at night now she spends the night sleeping downstairs or more to the point mooching to see what she can steal and chew
