Hi

I was just wondering can I use any Epsom salts on my dog or does it have to be Epsom salts for dogs as I recently ordered some for dogs, but when this runs out was going to ask if i could just order some normal organic Epsom salts ?

Many thanks

Debs

I don't know the answer but I'd probably start by looking at the contents list to see whether there are any differences.

Some things are marketed for dogs to just put a bit more on the pricing - I was in the pet aisle of a supermarket recently and saw rice for dogs!

Omg really ?! rice for dogs that is madness.
Ok thanks but i think they are pretty much the same , as it is natural so it has the same compounds the only thing it did say , is that dogs have different Phd levels to us , but the dog epsom salts was quite reasonable so on the safe side i might just keep ordering the dog one. Or i could ring up raystede and ask them as am sure they will have some advice as well.

thanks for your comment

What do you use them for?
soaking my dogs paws if they are swollen it helps bring the swelling down and they are supposed to aid in arthritis and joints in older dogs. Eases the muscles and soothes the skin as well if itchy.

Thank you. Always good to find something new.

yes and its natural, will see if this works for my dog as poor thing has environmental allergies and have been using cytopoint injections once a month as well they are really helping too.

Someone I know found colostrum helped her dog with allergies, might be worth looking at?

Yes have already heard of that but am sticking with malaseb shampoo and Epsom salts. But thanks 👍
