How come every time you try to fone these people youve got around 8 menus to get thru before you finally get to speak to someone..and how come it always seems to be a a bloody effiminate boy from pakistan ?!

today ive just had run-ins with both sky and o2 over really nothing at all. the sky dilemma was to do with me asking for a price for "sky+" as my box packed in, i seen online a price of £99 plus around £50 installation...on the fone the price was quoted as £149.99.

the boy "ranjeet :* " asked if i have any other services..ive had the full package for 12 years but no broadband or line rental. "sadddly i am wanting to tell you if you hadve been having the line rental i wouldve offered the cheaper rate of £99. but becas you are not having i can not be offering it"......mmmmm...? so i then mentioned that id seen the £99 price online to which ranjeet then replies " ok meester john now that you have said you are seeing this price..i must be giving you it"...

.SO HOWDAFEK DOES THAT WORK !? :rant:

i asked him was he going to keep the extra £50 and change it into rupees behind skys back ;) ..he put the fone down !

O2 was another story...i forgot my password...but this one asked me for bank details etc then went on to tell me he was not allowed to answer anymore questions because i forgot my password :blink: i told him my tariff how much it was etc but no. stonewalled !

i wonder did ranjeet fone patel and tell him to do it ? :- "

I have just moved house and have spent far too many hours on these automated lines to all the utility and service providers getting passed to one inept person to the next. I am sure I had phone rage by the end...

The best time is when you are holding for ages and then they cut you off and you have to start again!
 
i was in a queue with ntl once, been waiting for 45 minutes,lent the phone between me ear and shoulder to put washing away and accidently turned it off.....i must have effed for ten minutes....

Haha omg I can imagine how annoying that bloody ranjeet is!! youve got the "accent" down to a tee! its strange with O2 though, im with them on contract, and they send my bill via email, everytime ive forgotten my password (which is a few times!!) they have always text me it, and told me to change it when i log on. (which then makes it more difficult to remember the next time!!) :blink:
 
guess what.....ranjeet phoned back with a new offer for HD ! i told him to "bangle it"...

i shouldve told him to.... "BANGLADESH IT" !! more like ! :- " :- "
