Wonder if anyone has any advice. Jillys left eye seems to be a wee bit sticky at the corner. Noticed it last night and cleaned it but this morning it was weeping a bit again and she was trying to rub it with her paw. Looks a bit like conjunctivitis (don't know if thats spelt right). Going to take her to the vet this afternoon just to be on safe side. Anyone elses dog had this before. :(

Heres a photo took last week

Might be a wee scratch or something Pam. The vet'll probably pur some stain in her eye (it might make her nose go green - that's the fun bit (w00t) ) to show up any irregularities on the cornea. I'm sure it'll resolve easily enough :)) .

She's looking like such a Laydeeeeeee now, isn't she?

As for the green nose... been there  I've had a yellow nose when the Doctor stained my eyes (w00t)

Sienna had a poorly eye a while ago Pam and thats what the vet did to her, he gave her some drops and in a few days good as new

Aww poor Jilly - she looks stunning that gorgeous girlie.

Chip used to get a lot of grass seeds in his eyes when he ran throught the long grass (w00t) (w00t) and he sometimes had red eyes too. :( Hope its soon sorted. :luck:

Jasper gets a sticky eye from time to time, Golden eye ointment clears it up in no time.

Well the vet put the dye in her eye and found a tiny scratch which has become infected. :( she's got some eyedrops that we've to apply 3 times a day then take her back on Wednesday just to check that its clearing up ok.

Thanks everybody :huggles: :huggles:

Glad she's going to be ok
