My dog is blind and tends to brush along bushes etc , sometimes twiigs poke him in eye.. can be quite nasty ....also you can get tinted glasses as sun can damage eyes.. cataracts etc....for sports or military/ security ... swimming protection from chlorineAre you serious or is this a wind up!
.
We walk on lead now, he was off lead when he first went blind and he could happily walk around the park but old age has made his brain a bit muddled sometimes ( I know the feeling)Do you walk him on or off the lead?
I would assume on the lead if he was blind
I’m not sure how that would stay on ..Would something soft like a scarf work perhaps?
He runs himself along the bushes I guess it’s like feeling your way along the wall when you turn light off...Surely if you walk him on the lead you would be able to guide him around bushes so that he didn't walk into them!
Thanks
I've seen these, I can see it working for walls and furniture but maybe not so well for bushes?RGC, your post just rang a bell in my head... Dog Haloes! e.g.: Amazon.co.uk : blind dog halo
