Hi everyone,
I am new to this site so I don't know if I am allowed to do this but please remove if I have violated any protocol.
I have just come back from a lovely break in North Yorkshire and thought i would share the details with those who struggle to find good, dog friendly accommodation.
We stayed at Moss Hogg Farm near Selby, North Yorks. The farm has two, brand new this year, cottages, both dog friendly. So dog friendly that they do not charge extra for dogs. The units are HUGE and even though only one bedroom, which is a huge double bedroom, the living are is so large that you could easily put in a kingsize inflatable bed if you want to take the children. Everything is top spec and they supply everything you need, even towels and bedding.
We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have booked for the bonfire week in November as my two furry daughters are terrified of fireworks.
Although on a farm they only have chickens, so lots of fresh eggs and one very friendly duck that taps on the patio door, much to the delight of the dogs lol.
Like I say they have two cottages, one called Sycamore and the one we stayed in called "Mary's", named after the last shire horse that worked the farm.
The farm is situated just 3 miles from Selby where you can get everything you need and also half an hour's drive from Eden Camp and the lovely market town of Beverley.
I have posted one picture to show where we stayed but if you want any more info just message me. I know for sure that we will be returning again and again.
