Firstly congratulations to Linda Arkley the new Mayor of North Tyneside.

Maybe we could ask her for help as in her pre election manifesto paragraph 6 which was delivered

to most homes in North Tyneside she says:

".....But I will spend an extra £1.3 million a year on maintaining the roads, footpaths and environment and I will invest in tourism and regeneration projects to help create jobs. I will support financially LOCAL SPORTS CLUBS, youth clubs and voluntary organisations with discretionary rate relief to help encourage new and expanded facilities for young people."

whippet racing is a traditional sport and is passed down through generations of familys provides leisure without being expensive to the local council i think all members of rising sun should either email or contact there local member of parliment and request a meeting with that person to discuss a loss of the facilities which deprives familys of a days enjoyment of a working class area with one of the great traditional sports also reminds me is it possible the local council have deprived the members of rising sun whippet club of public right of way i hope i have been of some help goodluck its your track get it back :luck:
