A very good idea fallenangel :))   maybe the councils would give each club  some doggy bags to hand out at each meeting like they do up Scotland ...then no one would have an excuse not to pick up  :- "
Not all our tracks are on council land Pat, but we could charge each entry another say 30 pence per dog if thay can not show thay have bags in there pocket and provide them with bags

pick that up but if u stood in it and walked in ye caravan then i would bet u would say something lol :)

Frisking folk for dog sh-t bags (w00t)

errrrr

YOUR DOG DID IT .... SO ..... BAG AND BIN IT

i think fining people not picking there dog mess up make more sense than fining people whos dogs get off at race meetings, if a dog gets off at a racing meeting its always a accident

Another 30 pence per dog with fuel now over £1.00 per litre in some areas are there not enough cost's in Whippet Racing. I have to agree we need to clean up after our dogs but if you don't have council poo bags just do what I do buy nappy bags they do the same job and they are even scented.

I agree, sure the committee's could stretch to a few boxes of nappy sacks/shovels attached to the poo bins. We're just talking people picking dog shit up, think the sport/governing bodies have higher priorities over this that could do with the amount of thought that's gone into this thread.

We use nappy bags as well and there's always spare one's if anyone wants one in the van. Its getting them to use them.

In my opinion it does not matter what event you are attending those who are runing the event or helping at the event have enough to do so we should do our bit too and clean up after our dogs.

I dont think it was ment that the workers should sort it John, but for us members to watch out for the ones that dont pick up behind there dogs, I can't understand why thay dont as thay have to everywhere else.
