Whiptails surely had a brilliant weekend! Big hug&kiss to Timo&Kirsi!

I must say that my boys did extremely well too. Hupi (Twyborn Philadelphia) was BOS-puppy, later on Viri (Scheik´s Comando) won his class, took res-cc and was BOS-interm., Hula (Carry On Ramblin´Man) was 3rd in open class (11 entries) and Jamo (Zootsuits Lonely Hearts) was 2nd in veteranclass (6 entries)! I was sooo happy despite the weather was awful (cold and rainy) and showday took 12 hrs!!!!! :blink:

Last weekend's show results were so magnificent that we are really out of words! We got more than we have ever hoped or could ever dream of!

When Woody wan Finnish Whippet Club Specialty last year, we thought that it was absolutely those "once in a lifetime" things. But now, on Saturday, Woody and Honey winning Specialty BIS and BOS and on Sunday Honey continues with BIS-1 in all breed show ... this is really like a dream! :teehee: And also Honey's kids Hilla & Beckham succeeded magnificently!

Finnish Whippet Club Specialty was a little victory for every participant. The weather wasn't good for whippets (It was rainy and a little bit windy. Luckily we got also a little bit of sunshine now and then). Despite the weather, the whippets showed well in the ring.

We are really grateful and happy that Jessie & Johnstone let Honey and Woody move to Finland! They are just so fantastic and lovely Whippets :wub: .

Woody has been doing really well for a long time and we have agreed that he can concentrate himself on more amusing/funny hobbies, like agility, this year. He'll take part only in some shows.

Honey's show season became quite short this year: Just these two shows and now, she began her maternity leave. )

If you are interested, I just updated some Whippet clup specialty photos into our Website (in the Photos section).

I still have to remind you that the weather was awful. It was difficult to take photos when I was freezing and trying to protect the camera from water. And the Whippets didn't enjoy the rain at all. The rain was getting worse during the day. :'(
