Sid thankfully is fine with fine with fireworks and will even watch them when he`s in the garden , but Grace my border collie and George X breed have always hated them , i tried various things over the years to help calm them but nothing has helped as much as the DAP spray which i put on a "bandana" which they wear around the house when necessary, it seems to have an almost immediate effect on them and relaxes them a lot.

I have given 2 of whippets some tablets, thet are called SERENE-UM M&C i got them from the pet shop thay cost about £4.99 they seem to be working, they would trying to find some where to hide by now but they are sleeping at the side of us, they have 3 tablets aday, i started them about 3 days before, nov the 5th , tonight they right at the bottom of our garden    , all they now and again they put there heads up. it will be all over with soon. ELAINE

Robbie is asleep in the cage, only waking up when I peek under the cover. He's not panting or shaking, so looks good sofar :) . There has been a lot of loud bangs, but he seems to be okay for now. Gizmo and Ricky are fine, Gizmo has been to the window to watch them too :p .

My whippets are fine, the spaniel doesn't like them though.

In fact last night i left them all in the living room with the tv on whilst i took the kids to a display and when i came back i was surprised that they weren't all peering through the window as usual at the sound of my car pulling up. I looked through the window and they were all completely crashed out, i had to tap on the window to wake them. Talk about bombproof.

i wonder why some are so badly effceted and others dont care ninny indy cally and milo have spent more time out through the dog flap watching them talis wagging than anything else all the others a crashed out watching willy wonkerno probelms at all this year even Minnie whos not to keen on them has been fine this year and is fast asleep upstares with Tony

Will see how it goes and maybe give him another 1/2 tablet. Its not as noisey just now, but got the tv up full blast and Robbie is right beside the tv.
