She will be much more grown-up in her general attitude after this. It's quite a milestone in developmental terms. She's a lucky dog to have such a caring owner.

He he she already thought she was a grown up

as long as she is a happy button

Just read this, Thanks for posting

Ash is I think 2 weeks in to her season (I say think, as 2 weeks ago is when we noticed her bleeding, which has now stopped)

I feel as though I am wishing my life away at the moment as I am only walking her first thing playing games with her in the garden and doing clicker training lunchtime and evening

I can’t wait to go out and walk again with friends and their dogs in the afternoon. Think I maybe being a bit over cautious but better to be safe than sorry

I always leave it 4 weeks from start of season unless a dog (such as my current one) has 4 week long seasons. Nobody ever regretted being careful for a little longer.

Thanks Hemlock

Her vulva isn't as swollen as it was on Thursday so hoping this is the start of it going down

I won't be taking Ash out until it is back to normal size so if that is another week or two then that's how long it will be - I am not taking any chances
