Well this morning i'm a very happy lady :)

Since hubby decided Flash was to big to sleep in our bedroom :( only because he used to get in bed and i would cuddle the dog more than hubby  Flash has been sleeping downstairs in his crate.

I been leaving him out of his crate when i take the kids to school and pick them up etc just to see if he would behave and he had been fine but that was only for 10 -15 mins so the other day i left him with free run of the house while i went shopping so he had 1 1/2 alone and did nothing :)

So i bit the bullet last night and i decided to leave flash out of his crate in the living room on the sofa .

Hubby got up for work a 5.55 so i dragged myself up expecting to hear screams from hubby taht flash had eaten the carpet or sofas instead i walk downstairs flash is in the same spot on the sofa as when i went to bed and hubby sat watching tv at the other end lol

He such a good puppy he is now 10 months old and i know i can safley leave him with a free run of downstairs while i go out makes me feel so much better than crating him.

We do need a new one anyway so i thought good time to try him b4 we get on

What a good boy. We rescued Pip who had far more issues that we at first realised and I came downstairs one day to find the laundry room door almost chewed off its hinges but the worst was when she completely ribboned a sofa. The fabric was literally hanging off in great long ribbons. She has also dug through the arms of a chair and eaten numerous shoes including a brand new pair of school shoes and trainers. Silly me for leaving them out! Poor old Pip will be in the crate for some time to come. o:)

Flash is partial to nice fleecy blankets, shoes, tiolet rolls and teddy bears oh and nearly forgot pens i find alsorts hidden away in his crate :p Strange thing is though he steals them while we are about never does anything when we are not there lol.

That coulld be because i aways make sure theres nothing for him to steal while we are out though :p

Just need get him stop digging in the carpet and jumping up to greet everyone and thinking someones here new plaything and stealing food the last one i do not hold much hope on achieving. :b

Rex also digs in the carpet - what a strange habit! He's 9 months old and mostly can be left and things remain undamaged. Likes chewing wood though (chunks for our log stove) ;) and we normally find the rug covered in shredded wood. Had great fun this week with a large piece of polystyrene packaging - looked like it had snowed! :b
