Pippa has real problems with her skin. She is allergic to grass and comes out in fluid filled spots whch burst causing her skin to fall off. She also gets infections as her immune system gets stressed. As such its difficult for her to wear anything that could rub. She can wear her collar (got a martingale collar made for her) but i dont like walking dogs on collars when they still pull so have been looking for a harness but had given up hope as her skin splits too easily. Even head collars cause problems.

Ordered this harness from

http://www.dog-games.co.uk/newshop/product...ss+-+Size+4.htm

(also on ebay but same cost and not full range of colours and other sites) and its fab! The fleece covers all the harness and its so soft. She doesnt pull at all which i think is in part due to the fact shes not in pain. Its possibly a little big but thats stopping pressure points. Just thought i would share a great product from a lovely lady who was a pleasure to deal with.

Thank you very much for this. We also walk our dog on a harness, but I've been looking for a more comfortable one for him, as the fit isn't great and it isn't as padded as I would like.

The one the dog trainer recommended is no longer sold by our local pet shop as they had a disagreement over barcodes (and couldn't find them online), so there is only this one harness that they sell now.

Lenny has this harness too and I agree it is a very nice comfortable harness. The only thing I would say is if your dog is prone to escaping (like Lenny is) use a collar as well and link it to the harness in some way. I use one of those halti links on mine as Lenny was out of it in seconds (w00t) You could also use a double ended lead.

I posted a couple of days ago about an escape proof harness which I got. Its not padded but I have had no problems with it rubbing him, and he can't escape from it :D

You can also buy the padded harness from the lurcher link website with a small donation from the sale going to LL :)
