Hi everyone

Flynn and Cris have got their first show next Saturday morning. He is now 6 months old. Months of research, reading, attending ring craft and puppy socialising, now its time! :wacko: Just thought we would post on K9 and see what the K9 masses response is, we would be very grateful for hints and tips. He has been entered into puppy, junior,pg and open. Its an open show but we have a whippet breed show 2 weeks after (w00t)

Best advice is have fun...know that you will be taking the best dogs home...and next time just put them in one class each!

I'd recommend just sticking with your dogs age class; so just Puppy for now.

Hi thanks for your well wishes. The show is at chorley lancs?. We were unsure of how many classes to enter him into to, so entered them all with the mind that if flynn and I are struggling we can opt out of some on the day.We have entered our boy into the Northern Counties Whippet show on the 29-1-11, but only into minor pup amd maiden dog, looking forward to that 1!. You mentioned whippet club, whats that all about please. We are hoping some exhibitors at our first show is as accomodating and helpful as the k9'ers,we'll have a chance then.

Will post our successes on saturday afternoon.

I thought perhaps you were entered at The Whippet Club show, which is next weekend - but it's NCWC instead. :thumbsup:
