Hello,

I have a 16week old Husky/Lab that has had sensitive tummy issues since I've had him!

He's been on Hills ID for the last few weeks to give his belly a complete rest, and I'm now going to try to introduce a proper puppy Kibble!

Now I've read that Burns is a good food for Sensitive digestion, but they also say that for Husky's they should have the Mini Bites Burns!!??

Are there any Husky owners on here that can confirm it is the Mini Bites I need to try and not the normal Puppy Burns??

Thanks

Jo

If your dog has a sensitive digestive tract, I woukld not use dry kibble. You can read my article on why dry food is bad for dogs here http://www.infobarrel.com/Why_Dry_Dog_Food_Is_Bad_For_Dogs

I would also urge you to consider whether your dog has a food allergy. My piece on this subject is here http://www.infobarrel.com/Is_Your_Dog_Allergic_To_Its_Food

Most food allergies are due to protein based problems. So for example, beef has a certain type of protein, which many dogs develop a sensitivity to - but this can sometimes be solved by swapping to a chicken-based dog food, because the type of protein is different to the one in beef. My piece above explains this in more detail.

Thank you very much for your reply Tony, I shall read both articles now! :- )
