Have you seen the programme on sky - Waterways..... I was watching last night and was thinking about you and your boat again. The lady with the whippet was on the series again... :thumbsup: I think it was Jim - did you not once meet this little boy??

Do you still own your narrow boat??

Hi Janis

We don't have sky, but we have watched a lot of the episodes that have been shown on ITV - they are really interesting.

We did meet Jim the Whippet, and his owners, at an Historic Narrowboat Rally at Braunston. They were promoting the sale of their book, so I bought a copy and they signed it. Here is a pic I took of Jim at the time. He is a lovely whippet. :wub:

We do still have our narrowboat. We haven't been out in it this year as we have been finishing off our house build, but we hope to have a long break soon. Bobby and Dolly are used to going on the boat, but it will be the first time we have taken Remmy, so hope she enjoys it.

Aww, I'm really sorry I missed that programme, Janis. I've read the book and it's excellent. Will it be on again and what channel is it on?

That's a lovely picture of Jim, Sarah. :wub: I can't believe he went all that way on the narrow boat with his owners. I wouldn't trust Muffin or Jonah on one of those! (w00t)
