at little hen rescue here in norfolk they are all ex battery hens or similar which havent had a very good life but would love the chance to have a bit more of a relaxed life unfortunately you have to be in the 100 mile catchment area to have them but if a few more can find homes it would be lovely and they will lay you some fresh eggs every day too we have 30 girls arriving in a few weeks time cant wait :b
