your too bloody clever, thats spot on

Looks good to me too  I'm OK for jackets at the moment, but wouldn't mind trying the stretchy lycra ones when you do them - I reckon it will be near impossible without one to use as a pattern - but I'm sure someone will lend you one as a guide. I never liked them much (they look too much hassle to get on), but recently Sweep has been grazing his chest when he goes in for the lure, and a bit of lycra under him would make him slide better (w00t)

You're such a clever girlie Nicky  Most of our jackets are made of nylon, which is good and light, but if the edges frey they're not easy to repair. Most of them have a piping round the edge, which is good if it's been sewn well, but they don't stand up to a lot of washing. I am superstitious though - unless absolutely necessary, I don't wash racing jackets mid way through a season :teehee: Some dirty bugger once told me it was bad luck, so I don't do them unless you can't tell what colour they are

June, Please don't write things like that when I'm sipping coffee over the keyboad

I'm now having to carefully wipe all the little bits of coffee out from between the keys before 'he who must be obeyed'notices (w00t) . You are priceless :p

Hey Jenny - it's time you paid us a visit up to Gloucester again - it's the open the week after next  Be nice to see you. :huggles:

Pics for Nicky... Ruby's lycra racing jackets. I'm not much of a sewer I just kinda made them to fit Ruby... lots of trimming and fitting. I've no idea how to make a pattern so they're all a wee bit different. I hope the pics are some use to you.
