Well the weather co-operated once again, it was a little breezy but the rain held off.

A total of 30 dogs which isn't too bad for a mid-week open.

Some brilliant racing, also good payout as there was also added prize money out of the caravan money, lovely trophy's, pictures of whippets in frames kindly donated by Wendy & Steve Potts, and bags of Alpha Food given to us by Chris Cornish

I think the racers went home happy with all this on offer.

it rained through the night and there were puddles on the camping field, but after a few bits of forking the puddles disappeared.

in most places. No one has packed up to leave so they must be happy to carry on ( whippet racers are a sturdy lot he he )

I didn't get a chance to chat to you very much on Sunday, but I thought your dogs ran brilliantly, you both must be so pleased.

Hope you were pleased with the new bit of track too, none of us had run of it before so all the dogs were trying it out for the first time.

Sun is blazing down now, the "alternate" track dare i say is superb, prob better than the original track imho.... weather has been dreadful BUT the track has been brilliant, we have had an few small issues with Caravan placement, mainly awnings in small hollows which have had a few inches in but nothing drastic, still have a line of tents and caravans right on the river bank which tells you something.!!!!

Will try and post some pics of the alternate track in a few moments!!
