Hi Rob,

What allowance is giving to vets relating to their age? Is it 5 scratch, 6 +1, 7 +2 etc. And if so, at all events...

New to vet racing, so info would be welcome...

Also, sorry Rob...

Can a dog run in The Jan Keeble at a class above in the adult, and at it's normal weight in the Vets? Just deciding what to do...

Paul (Red Reign)

Could anyone tell me what width the traps are please ?

PAUL

YOU HAVE IT SPOT ON FOR THE VETERAN SYSTEM ONE YARD FOR YEAR ABOVE 5 AND ITS FOR ALL VETERAN EVENTS.

AS FOR ENTERING IN MULTIPLE CLASSES AT THE JAN KEEBLE ITS UP TO YOU BUT CONSIDERING HE HASNT RUN A RACE FOR 2 YEARS SEEMS TO BE ASKING A LOT

TAKING ON THE LIKES OF KENTUCKY MAJOR POINT ETC.HES NOTHING TO PROVE OTHER THAN BREAK THERE HEARTS IMO

HOPE TO HAVE BEEN A HELP

SEE YOU SUNDAY

Thanks Rob, appreciate the input. Not sure what to do...I could run Red Reign at 31 in the open (if I lifted him, he's about 29 actual weight) as this probably his best weight being that he would be on the right. But up to 35 in the vets would mean running in the middle or on the left? He is a right handed dog!!! I dunno...I would only run him twice during the day whatever...I'll make my mind on Sunday!

But, if a dog could speak I'm sure he was delighted having a run yesterday, will keep him quiet this week, he was mental back on the track...at least dogs can show us all a thing or two about keeping fit...

Regards,

Paul

HOW OLD HIS HE

hope its a great weekend wish it was on different time to ayre would have been there ;)

HOW OLD HIS HE

He will 7 on August 4th. Circumstances meant he hasn't run for 2 and half years (child being born, my heart op etc.). But, he was a decent dog, and he's still keen, so I hate to deny him, especially as I have some time again...Still have to work Saturday's though.... :( :(

Regards,

Paul
