We met up with Julie D and family today at Formby to help celebrate Ella's 1st Birthday.

The weather was certainly better than when we last met, and we all had a good time watching the dogs enjoying their run on the sands.

Hi Nicola - I've been looking out for some Formby pictures. Glad you had a good time and the weather stayed reasonable! I see Ella's still not standing still for long. :teehee: Shame I couldn't bring Muffin today - he loves the beach and would have had a great time charging about with Ella like he did on the Glossop walk. :blink: Love the pictures of Stan :wub: and Fred too! :wub: Hope they all enjoyed Ella's birthday cake. :thumbsup:

Talking of cakes....Ella's homemade, tripe birthday cake was admired by all...

All dogs agreed that it had been baked to perfection by Julie's daughter.

Hi Gillian. We said Ella would have enjoyed a run with Muffin. Fred remembered his whippety youth and had a brief run with her...but it didn't last very long.

Oh..what a shame we missed her.

We had a good day out....thanks to Julie and family for meeting up, showing us Formby beach and for the party rosettes and birthday cake (Fred and Stan send their compliments to the young chef :cheers: ).

I had a great time meeting Stan, Jess and Fred again.

I thought Jess was :wub: and I've drawn a nice picture for her, we didn't see too many squirrels may be they were a bit shy of our dogs glad you liked your birthday rosettes, jax sent them to my mum :thumbsup:

Thanks to everyone for travelling a long distance to meet us, sorry our friends couldn't make it, shall have to find out what happened to them on Monday.

We had a good walk albeit windy.

Sophie took a shine to Jess (prob. because she appreciated her tripe concoction the best ) and it was lovely to see all the dogs together.

Ella's only just woken up after a long snooze, I think she wants some shoes like Freds
