We're going to Whippet Club show on 1st April which im dreading making a fool of myself at!
Do not worry, you have a lovely dog, just keep practising so he walks nicely without pulling, and keep standing him on the table everyday, just for a little while, make it a game so he is quite relaxed about it. Doesn't matter if he doesn't stand perfectly, as long as he used to being handled.

Ringcraft classes are also beneficial. :luck: :luck: :luck:

Thank you. The one good thing is he walks really well on the lead, i haven't got to worry about that side of things at least  He's doing okay at ringcraft and is growing in confidence and not jumping up at the judge! Im more worried about me!

Well, we all have to start somewhere, and nobody is perfect the first time. In any case the judge is looking at the dog, not you :) . So relax, you've got a good dog you can be proud of, that is what has to be on your mind as you enter the ring. If he plays up, so what. I have been showing for over 30 years and they still missbehave for me now and then :b . I consider the first few shows of each dog as a training exercise, and really do not worry too much where we get placed.

Frankie looks great Jo. Shame he can't teach Marble his new tricks!

We were so pleased that Frankie found a good home & we look forward to seeing you in the future. Marble sends his love & lots of licks xxxxx :p
