I like anything with whippets on but the people all look very sad in them don't they :unsure:

After Dee Dee won Crufts 'The Times' published an article saying all whippets belonged to 'flat-cap' owners from Yorkshire. I wrote back in a huge tizz and they printed my letter. At the same time a letter was printed from a lady who had been the breeder of at least one of Freud's whippets... think it might have been Pluto who only died a couple of years ago.

I love the way he paints them. I have a copy of a pic of pluto inside my pastel box.... and am also hoping my sketches will sell for £10k one day... :thumbsup:

I've got one on ebay selling for £10.01 at the moment - is that the same number :- " with just the dot in the wrong place.... :- " :- " :lol:

Coming from Yorkshire myself people do joke about the flat cap and whippet thing quite a bit but it's all lighthearted, and to be honest when you see pictures from days gone by thats what it was like, at least when they joke about that they know what a whippet is :lol: a lot of people I come accross haven't even seen a whippet before :unsure:
