The Scottish Thistle P.W.R.C.will host a fun day on Sunday 11th September, Dog shows -Racing -Fun Runs.
The show starts at 10am. with classes for Whippets -Beagles -Lurchers -Hounds and pet dogs. £2 per entry.
Trophy for section winners and rosettes 1st - 4th in all classes and 1st - 4th in all race finals.
Raicing starts approximately 1pm. £2 per entry
Whippets will be racing for the Puppy Derby and the Veteran Derby, Trophy and jackets to winners.
Beagles will be racing for the Beagle Derby, Trophy and jacket. £2 per entry.
There will also be Lurcher races Afghan Hound races £2 per entry and Fun Runs for any breed of dog. £1 per entry.
Whippets-Beagles-Lurchers and Afghans will race over 150yds. Fun Runs over 100yds.
Come and watch some of the fastest pedigree whippets in Scotland.
Murphy will be trying to win the Beagle Derby for the 4th time [world record] and be amazed at the speed of the Afghans and Lurchers in full flow on our super grass track.
The show judges are Mr.G.Clacher -Beagles -Miss N.Wilson Whippets -Mr.J.Wilson Lurchers and Hounds. Mrs.M.McQueen -Pets.
The dogs will not be judged to breed standard as they will choose the dogs they think can run fastest.
Prizes for Best in show and best puppy and best veteran.
This is a fun day out for all ages and all types of dogs.
Hot and cold snacks, Toilets, Raffles and free parking.
