This sounds like we've got a good crowd coming. So, how many dogs are we talking about so far?

I'm bringing the 2 girls with me, plus 3 or 4 kids

I forgot to add, I take it Mark is bringing quite a few, plus of course the white carnation!!!!! Paula, are you any good at flower arranging?

talk about confused,      I'm so surprised to hear 'Pennymeadow' is male  (w00t) I had looked at their website ages ago but hadn't noticed in his post he was a HE, (sorry Penny  )

Must say he must be in touch with his feminine side , and that can't be bad !

mr Pennymeadow 6ft 18 stone quiet calm laid back & non agressive & all who know him will tell you the same ask any little old lady witness o:) you must have been reading Mrs Pennymeadows posts she puts Sue on the bottom :D

Southport is a big beach, which point are we meeting at ?

if anyone knows the tide time and it's not suitable, Formby beach by the squirrel reserve is high tide 15:50 approx and it was lovely there on Sunday

Are we all still on for tomorrow?

If we are, how about meeting where you access the beach for parking and drive down to the dog walking section. This section is to the left after you have driven onto the beach.

If you have any better ideas, then please let me know.

OK, just been to find out about the high tides at the beach, and this is the information that I've found. Not sure how to interpret it, but I'm thinking that there may be a chance that the tide will be in. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Have a brilliant time! I thought it was next weekend - don't know why I thought that

Our Bristol walk was really good, and we're looking forward to seeing your pics tomorrow

it looks like some of yiu are going to southport beach and others are going to ansdale beach

Go to the fair when you see the traumertizer there is a roundabout where you can drive on to the beach go up the ramp to the beach

GO past mc donalds to lights turn left up to roundabout turn right next roundabout right straight over next one turn right & up ramp on to beach :luck:

Were meeting at The entrance to the beach (via the Round about near the pleasuere beach Southport)

Jeffs says it's the only place (in Southport) you can actualy drive on to the beach.

So 8am :sweating:

Yes lots of pics please Paula

I'm hoping that this reaches everyone before they leave, but I think it might be an idea to cancel today. We've got high winds and nasty rain here, which isn't very nice for us having a good walk.

Not that I mind rain, but I don't think the beach is a good idea on such a crappy day.

Do you all think we should reschedule for later this year, or leave it now until the better weather next year?
