So sorry to be reading this sad sad news. We had known George and his family to say hello to and pass a few words to for quite some time, but it was only quite recently that we felt we had became friends, after our efforts to use his beloved Billy as stud. George and Lett welcomed us into their home and nothing was too much trouble for them or their family. We felt honoured that they had trust in us to let Billy stay for a couple of days to ours. Our thoughts are with Lett, Paul, Kathryn, Claira, Adam the kids and the rest of the family. George will be greatly missed, a gentleman in the true sense with a good sense of humour, we learnt after hearing a number of his stories from the past that he shared with us on our visits to his home.

RIP George - Billy will be there for his dad, thinking of you all.

Karen, Sadie and Kim

i am so sorry to here this, but i must say my first thoughts when i heared what he had got in my hed was i don't want him to go, because i must say he was like a father to me as well as a friend, he would always cheer someone up if they was down. i used to see him walking round in the rain and he would always say i dont no why you got that rain coat on for it is lovely weather. He is the most kind and loving bloke i no and if i could think of better words to say about him i would.

love to all the family

rip goerge dont foget to walk billy now and i promiss we wont cry to much xxx

It is with great sadness we are having to write this. Unfortunately George Spark passed away this morning after a short brave battle against stomach cancer. He was involved in whippet racing for many years. He will be greatly missed. You could not have wished for a better husband, father, father in law, grandad, great grandad, brother or friend. He will be greatly missed by everybody who knew him or whose lives he touched. Rest in Peace George now you are back with Billy xxx
