Hi all,
I havent posted for a while but thouught I would let u all know.....
We got Gizmo just before Christmas and we were assured he was a collie x GSD, and being first time dog owners we had no reason to suspect otherwise. Anyways, just recently hes been looking really thin and we gave him a couple of weeks where we were feeding him a bit more than usual just to see if he managed to gain any weight. He didnt, and we expected him to have quite a bit of meat on him being crossed with the breeds he was.
Anyway we took him to the vets yesterday and it turns out that Gizmo is the weight he is not because there is something wrong but because he is actually a collie x greyhound / whippet. If we had known this when we rehomed him we wouldnt have spent the last few weeks worrying so much.
Anyway atleast we know he is ok now. I hope all K9ers and their four legged friends are ok.
Sam
