Crufts is at the Birmingham NEC. Hound day is Friday. Yes you can pay at the door. I don't remember what time it opens for the public, but I'd aim to get there early (like 8am) just because the traffic gets horrible later on. You can also order tickets online (though it might be too late to get them posted to you).

It's 12.50 each I think for tickets.
