  Just caught Callie and Spry outside with an empty 25g tub of aquarian goldfish flake they have eaten the contents  I've read the tub and it contains all natural ingredients but obviously for a gold fish and it doesn't say harmful to other animals

Do you think it will do them any harm??

Sorry I've no idea if its ok for them

They will want to go for a swim now

Mine have pinched it in the past and come to no harm

hope their ok lesley :huggles: sorry but it did make me laugh

Haven't a scooby - new one on me! I don't imagine there's anything harmful in there though - just keep an eye on them today.

P.S.    I know it's bad but the image is hilarious ... :clown:

I cant see that as it is food for a living animal it would do them any harm (but a vet would know for sure!), the following is a list of ingredients from one type of goldfish flake and nothing looks bad in them.

Cereals, fish and fish deriatives, molluscs and crustaceans, vegetables and yeast.

Regards

Chris

Spry is a right little bugger and she has an accomplice in Callie, can't help but laugh at them myself, I should know by now that EVERYTHING goes in the garden if Spry gets it, anyway it doesn't seem to have done them any harm so far, glad I fed the fish this morning

Mine have both tried it too Im afraid Lesley. They just love the smell and go mad for it (w00t) (w00t)

Kobi sneaked it upstairs one day and he is ok - and had eaten some of it I definitely know for a fact. Oscar has eaten it too and hes also ok. I wouldnt feed them it too often though. :x

(w00t) :D me too! But do you have to keep them in and aquarium? On another hand, that may not be such a bad idea. :D

Lida

PS My dogs have nicked the goldfish food many times, there is nothing in it that would harm them. Anyway i would suspect most of the flakes just got spilled into the grass.

Well glad to report that it has done them no harm although it has given Spry the squits a bit :x mind you that could also be the action man boot she partially ate

Nothing to worry about , I have a cat who sits and waits everynight for `his` bit of fish food , when I feed the house fish 8) and Dennis is 13 years old ,

Many years ago Badger and Simon whippet knocked down and ate over 200 calcium tablets (w00t) . I rang my vet in a panic ,who just said ` they might be a bit `firm ` for a day or two , and do you want to but any more ? ` Now we have all these `complete ` foods you cant easily get Calcium tablets any more . ( maybe just as well !)

Hi

My Cat Peter and Digger the dog regularly knock the lid of the fish food and help themselves :- " They love it and it doesn't appear to have harmed them - in fact it has become a ritual at fish feeding times for them to expect a bit ;)

just like crab stick crisps really
