Hi all, a neighbour has fallen love with our Whippet bedlington 'Mouse' and as they lost their whippet before Christmas they are very keen to re-home a youngish dog or bitch. A great home is assured please get in touch if you can help

I don't know if your friend would consider a whippet x, but Eddie is a very sweet natured boy who has been waiting far to long for a home:

Eddie does look nice. And some other Tia rescue hounds, Addie and Flybe Mouse, are the size of large whippets, 20 inches at the shoulders

There are some whippet crosses currently in Irish rescue centres

Heather and Culeen have the same blue and white colouring. Culeen's advert has been up for some time so I think she's now about a year old; I wonder are these littermates or one bitch with two names and contact numbers?

Scooter is a brindle whippet cross showcased at http://www.irishanimals.com//limerick_homes.html

at all those pages you will see other Irish dogs needing homes, including a number of greyhounds and lurchers

Sorry, that should have been Evesham lurcher rescue; Tia is a different lurcher/greyhound rescue group. Do bear in mind that these groups do sometimes get whippets.

I thought Heather and Culeen must be the same bitch as the unusual colouring is so similar. She is, a foster-carer found Culeen hard to pronounce and called her Heather instead. Her mother Honey is also available for adoption. These types of dogs are not so popular in the south of Ireland; I don't know if this is because of misconceptions or because there are a lot of sheep in the countryside.

How about his little chap. Isn't he gorgeous.

And another one.

He's with lurcher link. Have to say not sure about the choice of name Kaye. :- " Cyril

I thought Cyril was a great name for him!! ;)
