Blaze went to see the physio this morning and he is very pleased with her. Following her injury at the Tyrone Open she has been laid up for 2 and a half weeks under treatment. I'm glad to report that with a further 10-14 days lay off she should be able to resume training. The injury is healing very well so only 5 weeks off is a blessing. I'm glad now that I didn't attempt to get her fit in just two weeks for the champs as I could have done more harm than good.
Hopefully she'll get running during the rest of the season. To say she's coming up 4 and a half this is (apart from the toe last summer) TOUCH WOOD the only muscular/ligament/bone based injury she has ever suffered. If I can keep her skin in one piece we should be alright.
On another good note Jessica is now fixed too lol, Connor's Legacy hopes to be back on the race track in 5 weeks time when she reaches 10 weeks from season.
See you all around and keep your paws crossed for Blaze it's such a relief as with the swelling/bruising she's had over the past few weeks it's been a major worry that the injury would take longer to heal.

P.S Just getting in the wine to celebrate a healthy whippet :teehee:
Although it does mean no babies for her yet, so get your gloves back on all you potential stud dogs .
