Many thanks for all the good wishes for the little lad hurt in the car accident. Spoke to the vet's yesterday and all good news. The lad's eye was dislodged in the accident but they have managed to replace it and all is looking well. The stiches were to come out today and they are hopeful that all will be fine. They say that he is remarkably cheerful and enjoying the fuss made of him by all the staff and showing no signs of trauma.

Best news of all is that he has a new home to go to when he leaves the vet. A friend of the previous owner has come forward to adopt the lad and as she knew the dog previously and it's owner I am convinced that he will have a wonderful life ahead of him.
