funny really i get more comments about Grange hill than Brookie, suppose cos i was in gh for 4 years and Brookie for only 3 months. As for why they took it off air it started going down hill a bit, storylines got silly. My mates say it got pulled not long after i joined! :D

And yes Missys settled in nicely...sleeps alot,as you can see from 11 till 12 she hadn`t moved a whisker.Gaz was spot on when he said she`s a lovely dog.

Couple more down the park this morning......(you shouldn`t of taught me to resize i`m addicted now!)

Missy is so lovely - and looks to have settled in well with you. See she is teaching you about her houndy ways already - NO FOOD IS SAFE!!!!!! (w00t)

And as for Brookie - you have brought back some great memories - watched the Saturday omnibus at 5pm every week for years and years - a really class soap - and the Corkhills were brilliant - 'Once a Corkhill, always a Corkhill!' as Jackie's Mum used to say! That clip of you catching Ron and Jackie together was superb - I remember it as if it were yesterday!

Anyone else remember the Jordaches - when she killed Trevor after months of being beaten up :( - it was such a great storyline :sweating: - and then burying him under the patio - absolutely fantastic    Don't watch any soaps now - none of them are any good compared to Brookside.

Hey George, great you got a lovely whippet, Missy sounds perfect.

I see you go to Crocky park !!!!

We're in Liverpool, our friends with Ella's brother live in Huyton, next time we're meeting up for a whippy run or down to Formby beach I'll let you know so Missy can meet two more whips, they love to run with others who can keep up !

enjoy her , she's

so pleased Missy's got the home she deserves - and you've found your perfect whippy George!

s'funny about the GH/Brookie thing.....cause although i watched both, i would have never have recognised you!.....before you get all para, it's worth pointing out that i have a strange mental lack when it comes to recognising faces....for some reason, until i have met people several times in the flesh, i will still walk by them in the street completely oblivious - if a character changes hairstyle partway through a film it will take me the rest of the movie for me to realise it's the same person!............a typical scene here at Urchin Towers involves me remarking at the telly, 'hasn't he been in something before', to a hail of groans...'that's JACK NICHOLSON he's been in everything!'

sorry, i've drifted off topic! lol

Funny enough i was in a pub out of town some years back when some charactor came over, saying how he admired me and had followed my career closely and would love an autograph for his son,so i signed a beer mat and gave it to him.He looked at it and said `Who the hells this?`,i replied `you wanted my autograph`

he said`To Joshua be lucky....George Christopher Little jimmy Corkhill, sod that i thought you were Jamie Rednapp`and walked away well pissed off,me and my pal just laughed!

As for Missy....adore her :huggles: !Can see why people have more than one now
