If she is eating it & doing well on it, why rock the boat?

Its a reputable food & if it suits her, all well & good

However, the racing folk may well have some good tips for you, good luck :luck:

Im absolutely famished nina, i cud just go a dirty big mac

keith with fries

If she is looking good on it, I'd stick with it. If her coat is shiny, her weight stable, her eyes bright, and no runny bottom, I'd say you are doing well. I give mine a small dish of goat's milk and 1/2 weetabix for breakfast which they really enjoy, sometimes scrambled egg, or cooked mince in with their complete food (Redmills Racer) for variety. If you do add extras, don't give quite as much kibble or she might put on some weight.

So glad she's settled in well

my whippets are just pets but they are on the James Wellbeloved Ocean white fish and rice.

I tried all manner of different foods before the JW and their coats, skin and general health has been much better on this food than any other.

i occasionally add sardines or tuna or scrambled eggs etc if we're out walking all day etc.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better quality hypoallergenic ready made dog food than what you already have.

Cheers guys was just curious. What about Whippet treats from time to time?At the moment cornflakes in the morning and half an apple later on,any other delights you folks give your whippys?

The most bestest brilliant treat for whippets is a pig's ear! Get them at your pet shop and watch her go bonkers for it  One or two a week are a very delectable whippet treat George :D

Cheers but i know already, got some last week and dont see her for 10 minutes or so as she demolishes it :p

Mine are on the BARF diet George - but its not for everyone I suppose.

Chicken wings for B/Fast or Lamb Bone in Breast

or Sardines.

Raw Mince, Lamb, Tripe or Chicken for Tea with raw veggies, pasta or rice when I have it mixed with Burgess Triple mixer.

I also give them garlic tablets, wheatgerm oil and occasionally cod liver oil.

They also get goats milk, sometimes and cereals, and now an then beaten raw eggs.

For treats, Puff jerky, Pigs ears and raw hide chews - and of course large knuckle bones from the butchers.

She has really fallen on her feet,

She Fallen into a massive pond this morning,it was surreal, about 10 in the morning took her the usual park we go(Crocky)and as you get to the bottom theres a big lake type pond with 3 foot railings all around, there was about 30 schoolkids all playing some game near by and me and my Dad strolling then Missy got through the railings and couldn`t work out how to get back through so began running around the pond,as it had green moss over the surface so she must of thought it was just more grass so leapt off the embankment into the water,i leapt over the railings(thinking i might have to dive in here!) to help and call her back as she swam a little then climbed back up to me,drenched but ok.The whole place was silent as they stared at the sudden mad cap scenario,my Dad was on his phone to his mate who even heard the splash at the time.....she was hyper for about 20 minutes after sprinting everywere, and remained on the sofa since!
