Looks like Harvey's going to have some competition around his weight Neil  KarenNEILPEM said:jake is now 23lb bonnie is19,jake only a lb lighter than my greyhound pups at this age, woooooooooooooo might get a no limiter ey bruv,

   if i wasnt confused before i am now if anyone has any pups thatll prob make around the 20"mark Give us a pm.Fleesh said:Hi Pidge, I'm afraid even talking in lbs is not accurate, my bitch is 28lb and had a 46lb brother. Another bitch was 22lb and had a 35lb brother. Weight differences can range up to 20lb or more.
As for heights, I have a 21" 28lb bitch but I know someone else has a 28lb bitch only 19" in height. Even seen a 21" bitch weighing 40lb. I own an 18" bitch but she weighs 17lb (still catches the bunnies though). I also own two 21lb bitches, the pup being 20" and the mother being 19". However I know another bitch that is 18" high and weighs 25lb.
 Confusing isn't it. Sorry I couldn't be much help pidge but a ratio chart simply could not exist.
On average however I would recommend you try a pup from a bitch between 22-26lb and a dog similar weights but even then you would not be guaranteed a pup of the right height. The litter I bred was from a 19" 21/22lb bitch and a 20" 21/22lb dog and we ended up with a 18"(bitch) 19"(dog) 20"(bitch) and 21"(dog).
Happy Hunting
Harveys doing great Neil his schooling as been a doddle 100% mad for the lure. He's as straight as anything even when another dog layed on him.His weight is 64lb but he's carrying plenty at the minute.Gonna enjoy a lazy winter with him while he matures and then we'll see what he's got in the tank next spring KarenNEILPEM said:HOWS HARVY DOING NOW,RACING AND WEIGHT WISE
