I took Sada round to my friends this evening, the next doors cat was about and

started spitting near her gate. So my friend picked Sada up to take her into the

garden out of the way.

Before we knew it the lunatic cat had jumped the fence and was up my friends

body like a bullet to get to Sada. My friend has bites and claw marks on her leg

and back. Sada has a ripped ear and one of her best material collars is

shredded.

I had to use a bit of wood to get the b****y thing of them. The owners

response...............oh it did that to our dog

so if it had been the other way around this owner would prob be going nutts that your dog attacked her cat. some blooming people

hope your dog and friend are ok :huggles:

I think i just might Stormy, at least Sada would be able to go back if she wasn't

being held.

Sada is fine thanks nicky, a lot of blood for 2 smallish cuts. My friend insists

she has lockjaw though

Be very carefull and seek medical advise as cat scratches can cause a lot of problems due to bacteria and dirt from the claws :(

Why is it ok for a dog to chase and traumatise a cat, but not the other way round  :(

Glad to hear sada is ok

Glad to hear sada is ok

Sada has never chased a cat in her life, she looks at them in amazement when

they walk along my garden fence.

This cat bolted up my friends body clawing and biting all the way to get

to Sada

That wasn't aimed at you and Sada, Ann :huggles: , it was a general comment really, some people seem to think its a bit of natural fun if a dog terrorizes a cat but not the other way around.

I have a cat and given the chance the whips will chase her but if they do they get a right bollocking of me and if she tells them off then it serves them right

And Stormy next time that little pussy cat teases your big dogs you go and tell the owner, bullying is just not acceptable :- " :teehee:

it annoys me how cat owners see it as acceptable for their cats to go around shiteing in everyones gardens yet think dog owners should clean up their dog mess?

when was the last time you saw a horse owner carrying a poo bag and picking their horses crap up?

i hope both sada & your friend are ok now, dont get me started on cats doing their business in your garden, & spraying up your front door, like this morning it stinks the house out.

I think that would have really shook me up, I hope they're both okay now!

At my friends house a local cat used to sit on the garage at the bottom of the garden and it drove their dog Holly mad! She'd run down the garden, but once she got to the bottom she couldn't see the cat anymore, so would wander back up the garden, only to belt back down again once she saw the cat!

I'm sure that cat was laughing to itself - until the day my friend waited beneath the garage and when Holly got there, lifted her up until she was nose to nose with the cat, which fled! :D

I hasten to add Holly wouldn't have hurt the cat - she just wants to play...
