Had a great time with OH celebrating 25th anniversary in Barcelona for three wonderful days! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

He thought he had got away from whippets, but......................................... (w00t) (w00t)

His name was Dream :wub: :wub: and he was born in Argentina where apparently he was a champion, but moved from there to Barcelona with his owners. They say they have never seen another whippet in Barcelona - they have been looking as they would like a puppy by him, but no luck yet.

Weren't we lucky to find him - OH couldn't believe it!!!!!! (w00t)

First of all many congratulations on your 25th Anniversary. It's only right that you should have found the only whippet in Bacelona it's kind of meant to be. I'll bet you were so thrilled to see him.

Isn't he handsome! No my OH didn't see any in Barcelona when he was there last year either, unlike Paris where we were falling over them! I didn't see any either, as I was ill and he went on to enjoy the week in Barcelona alone, leaving me languishing in bed at home. :'(

Dream was born in Argentina and a champion? ... I think the Dragonfly's kennel is Argentinian - Jacqui Quiros Kabat? The spelling of her name is from memory - I hope I have it right. I will check on that.... But he could possibly be a Dragonfly's whippet.

To be honest - although we have been together for 25 years (actually on 5th July) we lived together for 17 years before we got married, so have only been married for 8 years!!! :- " However, we thought we could well be dead if we waited for our 'real' Silver Wedding anniversary, so started celebrating now!

I have a great husband :huggles: , two wonderful children :huggles: , but ONLY ONE WHIPPET!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still haven't mastered the art of getting my own way on this one, but I will never stop trying! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
