GOOD LUCK YOUNG TINKS ! im sure hes in the right hands now :- "

awww   good luck with him :luck:

:luck: Yes best of luck with him - he looks lovely. I dont know anything about horses :b but I think they are beautiful animals  . What are his behavour problems and what will you do to help him?

he got brought over from holland (long journey!) 2 years ago and a man who had only just learnt how to trot bought him  as a just broken 4 yrd old. thinking he would look nice on this strapping young horse

needless to say it didnt work out, so his gf (my old college friend) started to ride him.....

(bearing in mind that she told him not to buy the horse becuase he needed and experienced rider.... shes ok, but not great, and had the wrong attitude to him because she didnt want him in the first place)

so whilst hacking if he saw anything scarey he would just turn around and bolt full pelt home :( to what he thought was saftey. He wasnt getting the correct vibes and confidence from his rider so took care of himself... with her aboard!)

being quite a big boy also he tends to drag when lead, so he will have to wear a bit whilst being lead to and from the stable.

Once he is settled and gains trust in myself and my other two steady neddies he should trust me enough to hack out and realise saftey is with the herd (who he will be out hacking with)

I have brought many horses who have been written off back to being sane poppo's :luck: ..... same as dogs really - look at the owners first!!!

Many years ago a friend of mine took on an Arab stallion someone had brought unbroken at four years old to learn to ride on. (w00t)

People seem to be just as stupid now.

How gorgeous is he... one lucky girl...
