The Hydes are judging up here next month - any idea what they like in a whippet? What have they put up recently round the traps - anyone know?

:eek: Actually Caboolture is my home town and I'm greatly offended by those comments. :(

It is actually an Aboriginal word which means "the bend in the river where the carpet snake lives". (w00t)

:p But not as offended as I would be if I lived in Wearthphkami :oops:

As a teacher in the caboolture area we have done much research into true indigenous meanings. An old tribal elder told us that caboolture is the name to describe a funny looking, ageing monster that can be seen whilst looking skyeway to the south.

Jeez those original Australian's had great imaginations.

I got my informtion from The Book of Tales 1988 2nd edition. Maybe it has been updated/ :oops:
 
:cheers: that's right- gab won something or other.hang on i'll look at the certificates in the draw- there it is- :x Mrs Neale was the one. Haven't shown(my own doggies) under Mrs hyde :oops:
